Noise nuisance services are provided in the main by the Suffolk district and borough councils. This list provides links to the relevant web sites for more information:

Transport noise

Transport noise does not fall within the scope of nuisance legislation and is therefore not dealt with by the districts and boroughs.

1. Aircraft noise

• For aircraft noise issues, contact the Civil Aviation Authority.
• For military aircraft noise issues, please contact RAF Lakenheath or RAF Mildenhall.

2. Railway noise

• For railway noise issues, contact Network Rail.

3. Road traffic noise
All matters associated with road traffic noise are dealt with by the local highway authority. More about Suffolk County Council's reponsibilities relating to road traffic noise and vibration.
