The Waste Core Strategy Submission Draft was approved by Council on 10th December 2009 and submitted on March 19th 2010. A Public Hearing took place between the 6th and 16th of July. This document can be downloaded below:

Consultation on the legality and soundness of the document, took place on Monday 11th January 2010 to Monday 22nd February 2010.

A Consultation Statement (PDF, 54.3 Kb) was prepared under the requirements of Regulation 27 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 to support the pre submission stage.

All Policies and proposed sites for residual waste treatment facilities and non-hazardous landfill were assessed under the Conservation (Natural Habitats etc) Regulations 1994; please see Waste Core Strategy Habitats Regulations Assessment Report (PDF, 106 Kb).
