Gazeley's three churches walk

Introduction

This walk is situated approximately 5 miles east of Newmarket and encompasses the picturesque villages of Gazeley, Dalham and Moulton. It has been developed on public rights of way crossing various types of terrain and although it can be easily walked, waterproof footwear is recommended. As the title suggests, the walk passes the three village churches, each of which houses some unusual structural features and distinctive carvings.

Green footpath signs and yellow way mark arrows displaying a circular walk symbol have been used to mark the route, which is approximately 6.5 miles long. The walk can be shortened in places by following the alternative routes shown on the map.

Icknield Way
