Checkingonthekiln The Archaeology Service has developed an innovative educational package,  The Aggregates Educational Project, relating archaeology to the minerals extraction industry through practical activities. The experimental archaeology camps that have taken place so far can be seen on the Camp Diaries pages. From this project the Archaeological Service has developed a comprehensive collection of Teachers Resources. These resources are designed to develop a knowledge, interest and enthusiasm for the archaeology of Suffolk's river valleys. The information will provide teachers with the tools to explore this landscape and introduce your students to the excitement that archaeology brings plus develop an understanding of the aggregates industry.
