In April 2006 Suffolk Youth Services and Suffolk Connexions Service
integrated to become Suffolk Youth and Connexions Service, which is
part of the Children and Young People’s Directorate of Suffolk
County Council.
The Youth and Connexions Service is one of several organisations
within the County Council,along with the voluntary and community
sector, working to provide help, support and guidance for all young
people as part of Integrated Youth Support Services.
The adult education services provided under the former Community
Education Service are now part of the Adult and Community Services
Directorate of Suffolk County Council.

Suffolk Youth and Connexions Service provides:
- youth clubs and activities for young people aged 13-19 and up
to 25 for those with additional needs
- drop-in centres for information, advice, guidance, support and
counselling
- support in schools (youth work and Connexions personal
advisers)
- detached youth work
- outdoor and
adventurous activities
- a range of targeted projects
