This information will be updated regularly, and further opportunities added throughout the year.

Hiring the conference centre for training and meetings

Care training courses

Carer Induction for Adult Services

This includes induction for all staff as well as a specific programme aimed at unqualified staff where the opportunities are designed to enable them to gain an initial qualification to move through a learning pathway from induction through to NVQ level 2 or 3. Some training in this section will be considered mandatory for new starters.

Broadening your values, skills and knowledge

The main body of training programmes appears in this section under the specific subject heading, customer or staff group.

To apply to any of the courses under 'Broadening your Values, Skills and Knowledge', please fill out an ACS Application Form (Word, 79Kb) and send it to the appropriate administrator.

NVQs and Underpinning Knowledge

These courses bring together all the qualifications offered to Suffolk Health & Social Care staff, from NVQ levels 2, 3 and 4 in a range of occupational areas.

Pathways

A series of diagrams illustrating career pathways with training and qualifications to underpin knowledge.

Management Development

A series of supervision skills courses for new and experienced managers; Practical Supervision Skills, Group and Peer Supervision Skills and Advanced Supervision Skills.
