Who is the helpline for?
The helpline is run by the
Suffolk Parent Partnership Service, for parents and carers who
have questions or concerns about their child’s education.
When is it available?
Please call at a time convenient to you. Calls will be answered
immediately when staff are in the office. At other times, an answer
phone service is available. Please leave your name, number and time
of day you would like us to call you back. We aim to return calls
within two working days.
What does the helpline offer?
Helpline staff:
- Won’t say what parents and carers ‘should’ or ‘ought’ to
do
- Are not involved in individual pupil cases
- Do not give specific information about individual schools or
the provision they offer
- Do not share specific information about calls unless the safety
of a child or young person is thought to be at risk
