What activities are on offer?
Activities can take place before school, at
lunchtimes, after school, at weekends or during school holidays.
There are six activity catgories, each with a different symbol,
giving you a good idea as to the type of activity you will be
taking part in: |
 |
Active: These are mostly
sporting activities such as football, netball, tennis and
basketball and any dance or outdoor adventure activities such as
orienteering clubs and rock climbing. |
 |
Academic: These activities
involve you developing your knowledge and skills in ICT,
Maths, Science, English and French to name a
few. |
 |
Creative: If you see yourself
as a budding artist you may want to take part in activities where
music, art, performing arts and drama are the
focus. |
 |
Culture: Your local
museum, church or library may offer an activity for you to get
involved in. |
 |
Nature: Outdoor activities such
as bird watching, ecology or gardening clubs come under this
category. |
 |
Service: Do you help others in
your school or local community? If you do, you could gain a
sticker in this category. |
