The County Council is one of the key partners in the development of
the University Campus Suffolk (UCS) project, which will provide
Suffolk with a thriving university campus and newly built further
education college in the county town of Ipswich.
More information about UCS is availble from

2010/11
UCS is looking for students who will make a difference by bringing
something that continues to shape us into a unique, modern and high
quality higher education institution.
Unlike many universities in the UK, UCS has been allocated
additional places for students this year. This means that not only
is UCS on your doorstep but it also has places available on a range
of courses starting this September and spaces in student
accommodation.
UCS offers full and part-time Honours and Foundation degrees in the
areas of arts, business, construction and engineering, health and
wellbeing, science and social sciences. The majority of these
courses can be studied part-time, making them perfect for someone
who wants to study while working, who has personal commitments or
just wants to learn more about something new over a longer period
of time.
Our staff are here to offer you help and advice throughout the
summer and can deal with your enquiries in person, over the phone
or by email. Call 01473 338352 or email
info@ucs.ac.uk.
We have a few open events planned over the summer where you can
come along to our Ipswich Campus and find out more:
- Saturday 21 August 2010, 10am - 1pm
- Wednesday 25 August 2010, 4pm - 8pm
So what will you bring to UCS this September? We would love
to find out.
