Student Finance Direct - customer portal
To guarantee payment at the start of the first term
of the 2008/2009 academic year, the deadlines for application
forms were:
- Friday 25 April 2008 for new and continuing
students who choose not to supply financial information on their
application
- Friday 30 May 2008 for students
continuing current courses and
- Friday 27 June 2008 for new
students starting courses between 1 September 2008 and 31 August
2009.
If you miss the guideline there wil be no guarantee
that you will receive a payment at the start of term.
Applications will be registered with Student Finance Direct with
effect from 12 March 2008. You will receive an acknowledgement
to confirm that your application has been received. Please
note that these dates are subject to change.
For applications that have already been received, letters
confirming how much a student will be entitled to for September
2008 will be issued by Student Finance Direct.
How to speed up your application
Please send all of your documents to the Student Support office
as soon as possible and remember to quote your name and ART ID on
all correspondence you send.
Common reasons for delay
- No Passport or Birth Certificate with Birth Certificate
declaration sent with new applications
- Declaration(s) not signed
- Supporting income evidence not provided
- Course information incorrect or incomplete
How to check the progress of your application online
The
Student Finance Direct customer portal allows students in
England and Wales to access their details online. They can
update their customer details, view letters that have been sent to
them and view details of scheduled payments.
