Training consultation service for childcare
settings
A training Officer can visit your setting
and meet with the manager/leader and the person who makes financial
decisions (such as the chair or owner of the
setting).
We provide a supportive informal service,
through information, advice and guidance. We help prepare a
training plan for the setting and help with any training funding
issues you may have.
This is useful for professional development of staff and within the
setting itself for business planning purposes. It can also provide
useful evidence, for example, in preparation for Ofsted inspections
towards training action plans.
Training

The
service is available to childminders. Usually a training officer
would visit a small group of childminders. Please telephone the
