The services being offered will depend on the children’s centre,
but are likely to include:
- Free activities including messy play and
baby fun
- Child and family health services
- Information for families
- Childcare and early education
- Adult education classes
- Training and employment advice
- Support for parents
- Healthy cookery classes
- Advice about using cloth
nappies
How much will it
cost?
Some
services will be free, although there may be a small fee for
cooking ingredients or materials. There will be charges for other
services such as childcare for working parents.
How can I take
part?
If you have a
child under five you can simply drop into your
local centre.
