About the Corporate Plan
Suffolk County Council’s Corporate Priorities outlines our aims
for the current year. The document also shows how we
intend to deliver the strategic objectives set out in our four-year
strategic
framework
A Better Way for Suffolk.
It explains how we translate those high level strategic
objectives into 6 priorities that will help to achieve those
objective, and how our Corporate Management Team make sure we
connect all our planning for services, finance and staff together.
It also shows how we do none of this in isolation. This means that
we have worked with the priorities set out in
Suffolk's
Sustainable Community Strategy. We have also continued to
listen to what the citizens and communities in Suffolk tell us and
how we are changing the way we work for the better.
The Corporate Priorities forms a key part of the Suffolk County
Council's revised strategic planning framework. This is designed to
ensure our resources are focused on our key priorities for Suffolk.
It includes more public consultation, more Councillor involvement,
and supports the development of three-year strategies for our
human, physical, and financial resources, based on what we know to
