Suffolk UK Youth Parliament elections 2010

The UK Youth Parliament aims to give the young people between 11 and 18 a voice which will be listened to by local and national government, and other agencies who have an interest in the views and needs of young people.

In Suffolk, young people now have the opportunity to elect 8 new members of the UK Youth Parliament for a 2-year period. The Youth Members of Parliament and the deputies will work with MPs and local councillors, run campaigns and ensure that the views of young people are listened to in Suffolk, the eastern region and at the national youth parliament.
