What is a staff support network? What can they do for me?
A staff support network is somewhere where you can meet and talk
to others about the issues you face together on a day-to-day basis,
and be involved in decision making at the council. As a group, you
can make a real difference and create a stronger voice for the
things that matter to you.
Suffolk County Council is the largest employer in the county,
and our staff come from a diverse range of backgrounds and
communities, with many different needs, wants and aspirations.
There are currently seven staff support networks, which are open to
all Suffolk County Council staff.
- Christian Fellowship
- Family Carers' Staff Network
- Suffolk BME Staff Network (black & minority ethnic)
- Suffolk LGBT Staff Network (lesbian, gay, bisexual &
transgender)
- Suffolk Staff Disability Network
- Positively Enabling Disabled Staff - for disabled staff
and those experiencing a long-term health condition
- Women's Staff Network
