organisations to improve their inclusion.

Disability Equality Scheme and plans, and about how we involve

Diversity and equality

and our recruitment and employment practices fair.
Equalities discussion forum (Suffolk Speaks)
The Suffolk Speaks partners
have set up an online discussion forum to hear more about
residents’ experiences of using public services. We want to know
whether there are any differences in people’s experiences and
whether they feel these differences are because of where they live,
their age, their gender, their ethnicity or whether or not they are
a disabled person.
Equality impact assessments
Equality Impact Assessments
analyse policies, service functions and strategies, to identify
what effect or likely effect will follow for different groups in
the community.
Equality Standard for Local Government
The Equality Standard for
Local Government is a long-term process and framework that will
help the council to remove barriers which create disadvantage and
discrimination.
Gender equality
Issues relating to diversity
and gender, and our Gender Equality Scheme.
Holocaust Memorial 2008

Holocaust Memorial in January 2008 with an event at Robert Cross
Hall, The Corn Exchange, Ipswich.
