Annual Performance Assessment (APA)
The APA is the Annual Performance Assessment of the council's
contribution to improving outcomes for children and young people.
Ofsted reviews performance data and our own report of progress
against the Children and Young People's Plan in order to form a
judgement on the quality of our services. For the third year
running we have been awarded a Good (3) rating accross all
judgement areas, an achievement to be proud of. This rating also
provides the score for the children and young people's block in the
comprehensive performance assessment published by the Audit
Commission.
