Ageing Well in Suffolk Conference, November 2008
 |
At the first highly successful Ageing Well in Suffolk
conference delegates discussed the need for older people to have
greater opportunities to contribute to, and be valued by the
community.
More access to social clubs, physical activity, volunteering,
learning and employment opportunities can help combat isolation and
loneliness in older people, and also promote physical health.
