which have taken place in the nature of adoption over the years and
the current challenges. Between them they give a good account of
the background to current adoption practice.
The Hadley Centre for Adoption and Foster Care Studies has free
online briefing papers on several key topics including placing
siblings permanently, matching, placing sexually abused children
and kinship placement.
