Research in Practice This website is an excellent resource and includes practice tools, monthly policy and research updates and e-learning modules.

Making Research Count is a partnership with the University of East Anglia. They provide a programmes of seminars in Suffolk and regional events. The programme for next year is currently being developed. For more information email goodpracticeguide@suffolkcc.gov.uk

Parenting UK provides regional seminars and has developed National Occupational Standards for professionals who work with parents

Resources within Suffolk to support evidence informed practice

The Knowledge Centre is the business section of Suffolk Libraries and has a substantial number of publications relevant to work with vulnerable children, young people and their families. It is based at Endeavour House Ipswich and provides a countywide service. The Knowledge Centre subscribes to a number of journals (PDF 12kb)some of which provide full on-line access to articles.

The ACCORD webpage gives information about the co-ordination of services for adults and children to provide a whole family approach
