 Services for Children in Need, including children subject to a Protection Plan and children in care, are provided through a range of social care teams within geographical areas.

The case management audit tool is for managers to monitor cases on an ongoing basis and ensure they remain outcomes focused.
This Cross Boundary Protocol agreed by Suffolk Safeguarding Children Board is to be used when children and young people in Need,including those in need of protection move between Local Authority areas.

family The ACCORD Protocol for services for children and adults to work together where a parent is disabled. (PDF, 51Kb) This is the universal protocol for all services. Joint practice guidance is being developed for adult mental health, learning disability, substance misuse, physical disability / long term illness / HIVAIDs and also for young people with caring responsibilities. This guidance is expected to be available from Sep 2007.
