Registered for 28 older people, Angel Court accommodates 10
People requiring Dementia Care and 18 people with Old Age and
Physical needs.
The home is divided into 3 living spaces, and has ground and first
floor rooms. The 10 on the ground floor provide 9 long term and 1
short term care rooms,for people with needs arising from
Dementia.
Staffing ratios are 5:1 on this unit.
On the first floor, Kingfisher unit houses 14 people with physical
and sensory difficulties. Swallow unit, which has 4 beds, provides
accommodation for customers requiring respite care.
The home is staffed by the Registered Manager Frances Nunn (RGN
NDN CIM) who has a wealth of experience in the Care business. A
small team of Team Leaders assist in the every day running of the
home, with trained Care and Domestic staff who work varying shifts
to provide 24 hour cover, 7 days per week.
Residents are encouraged to pursue their own interests and an
Activity Coordinator is employed to organise events and outings.
Every effort is made to ensure that each resident has the
opportunity to fulfil his or her life in every way.
