Suffolk County Council has
announced a £600,000 fund which will help voluntary and
Not-for-Profit groups increase the amount of waste that is reused
and recycled in the county.
The funding will support projects that create employment
opportunities, tackle social exclusion, improve skills and create
volunteering opportunities. The funding will provide support for
projects such as furniture and whitegoods reuse projects, community
composting initiatives, wood recycling projects, real nappy
networks, community repaint schemes, and scrap stores. For more
information, please visit the
Suffolk Recycling web page.
