This page lists a number of organisations that provide funding for community groups and the arts. To read more about the individual funds, please follow the links to the relevant web sites.

ArtsCouncil Arts Council England - the national development agency for the arts. They provide grants for the arts, including funding from the National Lottery.
Awardsforall50150 Awards For All - a Lottery grants programme, aimed at local communities. It awards grants of between £500 and £5,000 in a simple, straightforward way.

Big Lottery Fund - in charge of half the money for good causes from the National Lottery. The fund was created by merging the New Opportunities Fund and the Community Fund.

Film Council - provides funding for film production and training. It aims to stimulate a competitive, successful and vibrant UK film industry, and to promote the widest possible enjoyment and understanding of cinema throughout the UK.

LanguageLine Language Line - Suffolk County Council and the Primary Care Trusts have a contract with Language Line, enabling those enquiring to do so through an interpreter when their first language is not English.
