About energy and water services

What we do

Suffolk County Council has a dedicated in-house team, based at Endeavour House, providing a comprehensive “one stop shop” for energy and water services for all Suffolk County Council premises.

The following services are provided to customers for electricity, gas, oil, water, and fuel cards:

  • Arrangement of new energy supplies and site works;
  • Bill validation and payment;
  • Budget forecasting assistance;
  • Energy efficiency advice and guidance;
  • Energy procurement – use of large contracts at competitive rates;
  • Online energy database - containing bill data and meter-reading module;
  • Query resolution

The service is primarily for the use of Suffolk County Council directorates (such as Education, Police, and Social Care Services), but voluntary groups, registered charities, district/borough councils and other non-profit-making organisations based in the county of Suffolk are permitted to benefit from appending to the county council contracts.

Site layout and feedback

This website had a major overhaul last year and we have recently updated and further improved a number of pages. The site is fully loaded with information and advice that you will find useful, but as always feedback (good or bad!) is welcome. If you do have something to say, then please don't hesitate to send an email to the  Energy Team

The contents of this page are intended for general information only and should not be relied on as forming a binding commitment on the council
