Waveney Register Office is a listed building situated in the town
centre. It has seating capacity for 50 guests. The marriage room
has an intimate feel and benefits from natural light streaming
through the large windows. The centrally located building has an
impressive tower that provides a fine backdrop to photography. The
friendly and efficient staff endeavour to make your day a memorable
occasion.
Open for birth and death registration, ceremony arrangements
and general enquiries:
- 10am - 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday;
- 10am to 12 noon -Wednesday;
- Outstation at Patrick Stead Hospital Halesworth. Thursday 10am-
12 noon ;
- closed for staff training on the last Thursday of each month
from 3pm;
- ceremonies held during office opening hours and on Saturday
until 12.30pm (subject to availablity);
- ceremonies at approved venues and religious registered
buildings by arrangement.
An appointment system is in
operation.
