The Register Office at Stowmarket dates back to the 17th Century
and has an historical link with the writer and poet, John Milton.
It is surrounded by spacious and attractive gardens which make an
ideal setting for memorable photographs. It has a seating capacity
of 30 (making it an ideal office for smaller parties)
and standing room if required for a further 10 guests.
Open for booking appointments, ceremony arrangements and general
enquiries:
- 9.30am - 4pm weekdays;
- ceremonies held during office opening hours and on Saturday
until 12.30pm (subject to availability);
- ceremonies at approved venues and religious registered
buildings by arrangement
Birth and Death Registrations:-
- 9.30am - 12.30pm Monday to Friday;
- 2pm - 4pm Monday and Thursday.
Notice of marriage & Civil Partnership
appointments:-
- 10am - 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday;
- 2pm -4pm Thursday.
